Battalion Crest
Symbolism: The Three piles are for the entering wedge into enemy territory and of the piles used as foundations in construction work. The bugle horns illustrate the martial aspect of the unit and denote strength and fortitude. The divisions of the upper third of the shield are for the difficulties overcome by personnel in the performance of their construction functions, and above all else, signifying dominion and authority. Anciently, it was often granted as a special reward for protection and wisdom, as well as for successful command in war.
