    On October 1, 1944, Co. A was split and both 1st and 2nd Platoons were detailed out to different areas of conflict, thus the separation of the 2 platoons in Bivouac areas. The location of the HQ platoon during the war is not specified in the Unit History, but would most likely be with one of the 2 platoons.  The units rejoined on May 14, 1945 in Ingolstadt, Germany.  Please refer to the Unit history for details on there assignments.
